Themes

Housing democracy and governments

Have there been conflicts in the residents' committee or the board of the housing association that are difficult to resolve? And does a resident outside the committee/board constantly challenge the activities? Residents' committee and board work is a broad subject area where situations can conflict in many different ways. The training will look at the subject through both tenant-occupied and limited company situations, with a focus on cooperation and social conflicts between different actors (rather than institutional law).

Challenging encounters with residents

Do you encounter challenging encounters with residents in your work? Do you repeatedly hear complaints about the same thing and don't know what to do? This training will teach you how to deal with difficult encounters, how to defuse situations and ways to calm down an irritated resident.

Housing disorders and mental health

What to do when a tenant is talking weird? How to raise concerns so that the person you are worried about gets help? Who can help the person living with you?The training will look at mental health problems encountered in housing and neighbourhoods and how to respond to situations so that residents are directed to the help they need.

Voices from

There is no such thing as silent housing. Each resident has a view of what is and what is not reasonable housing noise, based on his or her own life situation and normality. The training will explore the different types of conflicts that arise from sound, challenge the notion of normality and reflect more deeply on the nature of situations and possible solutions.
